1965 Conn 72H

$1,750.00

This is a fine example of one of the most prominent bass trombones. Seems everybody knows somebody who had one or played on in high school - and with good reason! These single valve bass trombone were and still are such fun horns to play with a great big rewarding sound to enjoy.

9.5” yellow brass bell

.562” bore

The trombone had a thorough work up in our shop and has been set up completely with new consumable materials. Minor repairs were done including dent removal and hand slide alignment service.

After 60 years this horn does show signs of wear and use but nothing unexpected. The bell has been repaired previously, hand slide crook has been rebuilt (all original), and there is lacquer missing in a few high traffic areas but overall it’s in considerably great shape.

Includes it’s original case. No mouthpiece.
